I hope you have all been taking the opportunity to visit the Love Donna Flora Fundraiser Event. If not, now is the time to go! There are so many wonderful creators taking part with exclusive items to raise money to fund healthcare for Squinternet Larnia and help her fight to battle cancer.

At the Fundraiser Event you can find an exclusive skin called Flora. You can read more about them here.

Before the event started, I released a new skin dedicated to Squinternet called Larnia. This was for Lazy Sunday and featured a special make up. I have now released the natural make up version of Larnia at the mainstore, again with 75% of the proceeds going to the fundraiser.

Larnia is priced at half the usual price of my skins, in the hope that more people will be able to afford them and therefore be able to donate to this amazing cause.

As I write this update, Squinternet is preparing to go into hospital so they can begin to replenish her iron levels so they can counter the anaemia that is preventing her from moving forwards in her treatment. The event has raised $7993.17 so far! Please please do keep donating so we can help her further.

Another round of The Outlet Sales Room begins! And this time Im previewing a new skin called River in a special make up called First Kiss! It is available in 3 tones for 100L per tone!

The Love Donna Flora fundraiser is now open and will run until Midnight 11th August! There are heaps of designers there all coming together to raise funds to help Squinternet Larnia in her fight against Cancer. Every linden raised will help and every single message of love and hope we can send to her will raise her spirits!

For my part, I have designed another new skin dedicated to this amazing beautiful and strong woman and named in her honour.. 100% of all proceeds from each skin sold will be going to help Squinternet.

Both skins are available in all 9 tones and for this special fundraiser, the price will be half of the usual price of my skins. Each tone will be 425L in the hope that more people will be able to afford to contribute to this wonderful cause.

Each tone comes with all the usual additions and appliers.. and this time comes with a new shape called Flora which is included in 4 different body types.. Slender, Average, Killer Curves and Plush!

Lets make no illusion about this... Squinternet needs all of our love, our strength, every prayer and wish for the hope of beating cancer for the second time. We can make a difference when we come together and show that through all of this support and immense love, miracles can and do sometimes happen.

Its another Lazy Sunday at Aeva // Heartsick and this week, its a very special skin..

In the next few days, the preparations for Love Donna Flora will begin in earnest with people setting up ready for the event to begin on 25th July. You can read my blog post about my own personal thoughts and feelings about Squinternet Larnia, the creator behind Donna Flora, and the battle she is currently fighting.

I always long to help people whenever I can.. and so this Lazy Sunday's item I am dedicating to Squinternet. This new skin called Larnia, has been named in her honour and is one of TWO new skins I have created for this purpose. The second one called Flora will only be revealed and available at the Fundraiser itself when it opens on the 25th.

Many of you will be aware that in five days on 25th July, the fundraiser Love Donna Flora will be open to the public so we can raise funds for Squinternet Larnia to help defray her expenses and so we can all show her just how much we love her and have been touched by her amazing talent for mostly clothing and jewellery design over the years she has been an active contributer to our SL.

Even if you have never spoken to her or known her personally, you cannot stop yourself from feeling admiration for her. Squinternet has always had so much vision and originality in her designs that she can truely be called unique.. which in SL is not something that happens very often. Her gorgeous clothing designs have stood the test of time through the advent of sculpties and mesh and her jewellery is beyond breathtaking in its painstaking detail.

After being diagnosed once already with breast cancer which had metastisized to her bones, she faught back and it has been 2 years since.. however the cancer is regrouping and the battle to fight begins again. Having been touched by cancer so many times through my family, losing several of them to cancer and having a breast cancer scare myself, I can empathise with the devestation this can cause.

I have never met or known Squinternet personally, but her creativity has touched my Secondlife through the years. I have never been someone who has worn jewellery in SL but hers has always appealed to me through its boldness and vibrancy and even the kookiness such as the Dreamer necklace whose little girl on the pendant blinks every now and then!



I know she has inspired so many and reading through the messages of support for her on the event blog is so touching..

Squinternet... I want to say thank you for all of your hard work and beautiful creations through the years. Thank you for brightening our Second Life. Be strong and know you are loved by so many and that you are in our thoughts, our prayers and you are always in our hearts.

Now what is a secret sale you ask? Its where for 24 hours, items are set for sale for a hugely discounted price and then changed over the next day at a set time.. repeat for the whole week!

But how do you know what is for sale? Well... you can get clues by joining the Aeva // Heartsick VIP group in world and checking the notices every day after 12pm SLT. This will tell you how many items and from what section in the store is included in the secret sale, including the sale price it will be set to. To find it, you need to rest your cursor over each vendor until you find the items that are at the sale price!

Its fun I promise and its a good way to try out new skins or maybe even get the ones you might have had your eye on for a while!

PS: Don't ask Amesha which ones are for sale... that would be telling. Its really not difficult to find them I promise!

Im really getting into the groove with creating these designs for Mesh Dresses. Its alot of fun for me and its allowing me to express myself in a new and refreshing way.

I just finished these dresses today.. I named them the Kitten Dress as I think they have just a wonderful flirty sex kitten vibe to them. They are just so much fun! No doubt I will be making more of these in different designs!
